Ever want to own part of a dynamic coffee business or café, but don’t have the time or know where to start? For some, franchising with Summit is the right path. For others more interested in a passive opportunity, we’ve launch our Tranche Investment. Let’s partner.

Summit Coffee has 10 cafés open in North Carolina and Georgia, four more in development, and ambitions to continue our scale throughout the Southeast. With more than 20 years experience in café operations, we have the expertise necessary to identify, open, and operate impactful and profitable Summit retail stores. We know how to make Summit every community's favorite coffee shop. What do we need? Investors to help us scale.

Our intent is to continue retail expansion by clustering stores in selected markets to best capitalize on brand marketing, momentum, and operational support. We have identified a gap in the market between national chains and local cafés, and we intend to own that niche through our proven business model. With strategic outside investment, Summit will carefully organize Tranche owners for targeted markets, handle all aspects of café operations, and then share the dividends and assets with you. You choose the tranche you want to share ownership of, and let Summit do the rest of the work.

how it works.

  • Summit Coffee sells Tranche shares in a specific market opportunity, which will fund all expenses that go into locating, designing, constructing, owning, and operating the affiliated café units.

  • We collect 50% of investment up front, and 50% upon opening of our first unit affiliated within the dedicated market.

  • Summit Coffee gets to work for your investment, implementing our proven business model to open cafés in the promised timeline and markets.

  • Summit Coffee will install managers and market operators to oversee all cafés. While your input and expertise is welcome, it's not necessary for your tranche investment to flourish.

  • Once a café achieves positive cash flow, you will earn dividends commensurate with your investment.

  • Your tranche of the fund is a fungible asset -- you may sell it on the open market, acquire additional shares, or invest in future tranche opportunities.
