Above all else, it's imperative to us that Summit as a whole, and all of the people that make Summit what it is, offer kindness into the world. This is imperative in our approach to hospitality, in the partnerships we maintain around the world, and in setting the vibes in our cafe where kindness takes a front seat.

Call this our superpower. How might we? It's a phrase we use everyday to ensure we're approaching our work with eyes wide open, both in humility and possibility. There's so much to learn, so much to see, and we're here for all of it.

Summit spent its first 15 years as a coffee shop in the small town of Davidson, North Carolina. It's because of the local support we received that we've been able to flourish since, and thus it's imperative to us that we maintain a community-first mindset. How can we be good neighbors? From our Impact strategy to our in-cafe events, to designing each cafe custom so that it fits that community, being a locally loved brand is integral to who Summit is.

Say what you will, but we believe work can and should be fun. Not in the absence of hard work, overcoming challenge, and making progress. But creating spaces for fun to happen, between coworkers and between customers, helps keep the Summit world spinning. If joy is the core energy we want to create for our customers, fun is a big part of how we intend to accomplish that.
