Ahh, the smell of fresh ground coffee!

Grinding your coffee just before brewing is a huge step toward improving the flavor in your cup. Ground coffee stales 7 times faster than whole bean coffee. I tell people that a bag of ground coffee is noticeably staling after 3-4 days, and that is if you're keeping it in an airtight container. Adding a burr grinder to your coffee gear is the optimal way to experience the consistent freshness of our Total Quality Coffees.

The advantage of the burr grinder is its ability to grind the coffee at a consistent guage or evenness. This translates to a better extracted cup of coffee. The blade grinder is another possible choice. It gets the job done, but is not well-suited for delivering that even grind I mentioned above. It is a noticeable improvement over pre-ground coffee and an affordable way to venture into the land of fresh brew.
